We're camping tonight in Blanco State Park, near the City of Blanco TX.  Here's a photo of the view from our campsite overlooking the Blanco River and dam. 

The city has about 1,700 residents. It's primarily a cattle and ranching community, but has a historic downtown square around a former courthouse.
