Our ride of 77 miles today, to  Live Oak FL, was almost entirely on the shoulder of U.S. Hwy 90. Fast and smooth and in sunny weather (70-80 degrees). We rode through several interesting towns, including Greenville FL. Greenville is the boyhood home of Ray Charles, the talented musician who died in 2004 at age 74. Here's a photo of me standing next to his statue in the downtown park (our second sag stop).
