31st Day of Biking
Today we rode an easy 66 miles from DeRidder to Mamou LA (actually a small RV park about 6 miles outside Mamou). Roads were pretty flat and temperatures were in the 70s.
About 6 miles out of DeRidder, while riding on the shoulder in a line of bikers, John hit a big rock (which he didn't see) and crashed (causing David to crash into him). John was driven to urgent care and got 4 stitches in his right elbow. David was OK. Their bikes were OK.
Louisiana is very different from Texas, as evidenced by roadside places like these, selling crawfish.
