Today we rode 74 miles in sunny warm weather (in the 80s and 90s) from one Texas region ("Big Bend Country") to another ("Hill Country").  The difference in terrain and vegetation was noticeable. We're seeing more trees, rolling hills, and water. Here's a photo of a ranch entrance with a large flowering type of plant that I've not seen before.  I'm told it's a yucca.

I think all riders completed the route today. Patrick had 2 flat tires.
