Today we rode through some beautiful scenery first to Alpine and then to Marathon TX for a total of 57 miles. Sunny and temps in 60s, perfect for biking. Here's a mountain just west of Alpine.

We spent extra time in Alpine because a serious head-on car/truck collision (3 people in critical condition) caused closure of our route (US highway 90 where it intersects with US highway 67).
