Today we rode 61 miles, in sunny weather, through downtown El Paso and then to the southeast generally along the Rio Grande river to Fort Hancock.  For much of the way, I was part of a fast-moving pace-line of 7 riders. We stopped for lunch at Fredoz restaurant in Fabens TX.   Today, 6 of the 35 riders had flat tires.

Pictured here outside the restaurant are Marius and Honey, whom we passed and who are making a self-supported ride along our general southern-tier route to FL. They're from the Netherlands, a great biking country.
