Puyuhuapi: Another work day

Once Leigh gets the bit between her teeth, it's hard to turn her away from her work. So, with this being quite a comfortable place to stay, we have decided to spend an extra day to allow her to get as much work done as possible. It has a lovely wood stove in the shelter and good bathrooms with great hot water and reasonable wifi. Not a difficult decision to make.

It also gave us the chance to chat to various travelers from different countries - some cyclists from Argintina and Chile, a Catalonian going by shanks pony and two Dutch couples in camper vans.

Puyuhuapi looks like a bleak little town but it has a nice feel to it.

You can't survive a Patagonian summer without a good pile of wood.

Not so warm next to the river in the evening.

The waterside is where it all happens in Puyuhuapi.
