Cochrane: Rest and work
Last night we took a cycle to what TripAdvisor rates as the best restaurant in Cochrane. We weren't expecting too much and that what we got but it turned out to be a pleasant evening because Toby and Lesley arrived so, with the second glass of wine kicking in, there was a lot of lively chatter.
Today has been spent working and a productive day it has been.
This evening we strolled across the road to the local craft brewery where I had a really good glass of porter and we enjoyed some pizzas with a glass of red wine or two.. This is clearly thee place to hang out in Cochrane and it was full of young cycle tourists and hikers when we left. In contrast to Puerto Rio Tranquilo, party-oriented backpackers were conspicuous by their absence.
