After breakfast at the Sabaidee Restaurant, where we have eaten a few times while in Pakse, we picked up our visas for Vietnam at the Vietnamese Consulate about 200m away from the restaurant and cycled out to the northern bus station to catch a bus to Savvanakhet.

Most of the trip was spent standing or sitting on the floor - the bus was pretty full but for 40K each and anothet 50K for both bicycles we weren't going to complain.

We cycled around Savannakhet a bit looking for a guest house and ended up at the Soulinsouk Hotel, right next to the bus station, from where we hope to catch a bus to Vietnam tomorrow.
