Lazy day in Chiang Mai

After yesterday's extra early start, we decided to try and have a late wake-up. As things happen once you get into a cycle, we were awake before six.

We spent the morning getting some chores done (dollars for Laos visas, tyre slime and chain lubricant for the bikes) and tried, without success, to find a gas canister for our stove (we've been missing morning green tea and coffee).

The little wire bicycle had steamed pork buns and fried bananas for breakfast at the Warorot market in Chiang Mai

Got some work things out of the way (yes, we've still got some work commitments while we're on the road), backed up photos etc and then did a bit of site-seeing.

You can't stop a good Buddhist dog from attending the evening service.

Supper followed by a beer and some nuts and now we're heading for bed before hitting the road north tomorrow morning.

Despite going nowhere, we still racked up 25 kms on the bikes today.

Today's ride: 21 km (13 miles)
Total: 621 km (386 miles)
