Rest Day in St Augustine

Friday was a rest day for us, and we made good use of it by doing as little as possible! Not entirely true. We did tour the fort (Castillo de San Marcos) and wander about town a bit, the latter in part so Happy could find a pharmacy. We ended up at a convenience store which, seemed to have what Happy was looking for: cough syrup. We then wandered back across town with no particular interest, just enjoying quiet streets and the occasional conversation with the locals. We ended up at Flagler College, built around the former magnate's Hotel Ponce de Leon, a registered National Historic Landmark. Afterward, back to Pirate Haus, our home for two nights, to relax and catch up on blogs. I took that time to access a desktop unit where I could quickly and painlessly reorder my journal, which I am composing on an iPhone. Later we had dinner at a very popular Italian restaurant, Pizzalley's.
