Flagler Beach to St Augustine
We planned this as an easy day, as the next is a rest day in St Augustine. It also (mostly) represents the end of the beach towns up the Florida coast (unless we decide to overnight in Fernandina Beach).

Flagler Beach is a bit of a cross between Biker's Haven and Redneck Heaven (just my impression), and the bikers are encouraged to park across the sidewalk/bicycle trail (it is actually signed that way at a number of establishments). But the beach is pretty, and we had a good breakfast at the Oceanside Beach Grill.

We booked hard after breakfast and grabbed lunch at the World Famous Oasis Grill (where I had a great burger and John allowed himself a beer). That put us only about seven miles from St Augustine, landing there at about 2:30 after crossing the car-packed Bridge of Lions (and somehow I missed the lions).
Today's ride: 36 miles (58 km)
Total: 711 miles (1,144 km)
