Two wonderful days in Bordeaux city, sans bikes

We spent two days in Bordeaux city, sans bikes. It is a beautiful city, and one of our favourite. We thought it was like a mini Paris. It was great to have a city fix, and see all the sights on foot, although we did keep saying that we should be doing this on our bikes, we left them in their comfortable storage room in the hotel. Those bikes were ready for a rest!

The weather continues to be very warm, and it was so enjoyable to sit outside, in a great restaurant, enjoying the entertainment in the square.

This reflection pool is one of the main attractions in Bordeaux. It changes from a reflective pool, to about a three metre mist.

When in France, you must eat foie gras, and fresh figs. Delicious!

And, of course beef tartare, and more Bordeaux wine.

This is the longest pedestrian only, shopping street in Europe, I wonder if I can make room in Ron's panniers?
