We Are On Our Way!

Well, the day has come, and we are off. We flew from Nanaimo, (13 minutes, nice) to Vancouver, then to Frankfurt, with a brief stop in Munich. Great flight, as far as flights go, and our bikes went for free....bonus. Our bikes arrived in perfect condition, and Ron managed to hail a cab to take our bikes and bags to downtown Frankfurt. We stayed at a BettBike hotel, Maingua, where Ron re-assembled the bikes. Had a walk along the river and went for a great meal at Zum Storch, recommended by Jeff & Debbie.

Could these doors be 6 inches wider, please!

Cheers! A drink of Schnapps on the house in honour of Jeff. I was able to find a nearby plant which was happy to drink mine. Sorry, Alexander! They will never know why that plant is growing so much better than the others!

There were hundreds of these locks on the pedestrian bridge in Frankfurt. They all had inscriptions on love. Pretty cool.
