Transports of delight

Cuba's often described as "a small island". Cyclists know it isn't. It's 1,000km from end to end. It's also, children enjoy saying, 111,111 square kilometres. In fact it's a few less than that, but it's easier to remember.

To our regret we never saw a passenger train and we saw only one locomotive other than those rotting away in the sunshine. But there are so many other ways of getting about...
