Off home
All good things must come to an end but it has been a fun trip. Tim had never been here before but he is already planning a return trip once he replenishes his piggy bank because England is not cheap. You pay in £ what you would expect to pay in $ but the exchange makes everything twice as expensive. However if you want to visit the UK you just have to be prepared for the prices. We are both in the Heathrow lounge waiting for our separate flights home. Tim was luckily received a complimentary upgrade to business class. H&C will follow in 3 days after taking in some tennis at the Queen’s club. The tournament is a grass event in preparation for Wimbledon.
My next 2 adventures are in Canada. I will be going to Drumheller, Canmore and Penticton with 2 cycling friends for a couple of Grand Fondos and more. Then in September I will be going to Ottawa and Bath to catch up with friends and family. There will be cycling on this trip as well. My last adventure for 2025 is a return cycling trip to South Africa in November.
