To the Rendezvous Point
Staging Ride From Kenosha to Racine
The Kenosha contingent of our group rode to our rendezvous with the Racine folks. We rode independently from our homes to our meet-up at Petrifying Springs Park in Kenosha. A couple of our friends helped send us off from the Park.
From there we rode through the park to the Pike River Trail, a favorite and familiar local trail through prairie grasses. We beat whatever rain was forecast.
Tonight, we are in the comforts of home in Mount Pleasant, thanks to Loretta and Dave. Tomorrow we head out toward our first campsite and more typical mileage of our tour.
