Raptors (Birds of prey) are a large, diverse group including multiple families encompassing such birds as eagles, kites, falcons, condors, vultures, owls and the like.  Some of my favorite photos are in this group, so it's a good one for testing out the organizational structure.  It wouldn't be surprising if the group ends up subdividing or if we end up grouping some into matrices.  I'll probably start by corralling all the raptor photos I'm enthusiastic about just as a learning experiment.
