In the mood
As announced in the NYT this morning, After her 37 year run at it, Ann Wintour is stepping down as editor-in chief of Vogue Magazine. If it's beyond the paywall and you're not a subscriber, it's an article I found well worth reading. And it's only marginally about Anne's announcement, with probably 90% of it an exploration of the modern age from an interesting perspective tangentially related to Anne's domaine. It's more like they've used her retirement as an excuse to go off on a tangent. I get it.
It will shock many of you I'm sure that fashion isn't one of my passions, and I've never given a glance at Vogue other than an occasional glance to see who's on the cover this time. Different strokes for different folks, as they say.
Some brake for bakeries, some are for the birds; some ride bikes, others likes their trikes. The list goes on and on, but let's spare me the words and cede the stage to another demigodess:
