Google recommended that I do most of today's ride on the US101 Freeway. But I made a detour through Lompoc and only used the freeway when there was no other options.

Mike AylingThere are fixed points marked on the roadway and the crew in the plane time how long it takes to get between the two points and the motorist's speed can be calculated.
