This morning, I picked up the Erie Canal Trail in Western Syracuse.
After a mile it stopped. This part of the canal was not used in the last 100 years and the land found new used. Cyclists must then find their own way through Syracuse to continue with the trail on the other side of the city.
I camped on the lawns of Lock 21.
Today's ride: 116 km (72 miles)
Total: 1,639 km (1,018 miles)
