Today was our final day of cycling as we headed back to Bordeaux from Saint Emilion.  It was the easiest of all days in Bordeaux with at least 20km on the rail trail.  It was chilly but sunny when we headed out in the AM but warmed up through the day.  We have been amazingly lucky throughout our trip with the weather.  As usual we passed vineyards that were in full harvest mode.  All of the grapes will be off the vines within the next 10 days.  They harvest the merlot first and the Cabernet Sauvignon is picked last.  We stopped along the trail for a big lunch since we have an early  departure in the AM.  It will be an early night.

Departing Saint Emilion this morning in cool temperatures.
