Spent a lazy day in Nukus doing some shopping for porridge oats, peanut butter, sun cream and other necessities. Thank the stars for Google translate! Nukus is a nice city, with wide roads and clean pavements. I got a SIM card at the local bazaar where I also got some cash. The number of zeros on every note means I have to be extra vigilant. I actually paid the SIM card man too much - he laughed and gave me back what I had overpaid! Sleep was necessary after the train from the night before, so I had a relatively early night.
