Pinarello - Treviso’s cycling Legend lives on....

We couldn’t resist some photos of the beautiful Pinarello  shops in Treviso featuring memorabilia of Pinarello’s pro cycling career, tributes to pro riders who ride Pinarello’s custom bikes and just the bikes themselves.

As passionate cyclists who love beautiful bikes and enjoy the sport of cycling and the iconic figures who have found fame and infamy doing what they love, Italy is a great place for us.

Clearly there is no shame in coming in last. Barry proudly wears the Maglia Nera black jersey. After all, don’t nice guys sometimes finish last?

Barry hit pay dirt here as the Pinarello shop was selling Giadora Jerseys (beautifully made in Treviso Italy) sharply discounted to 20 euros

And who can resist a Giro d’Italia t-shirt celebrating a stage in Treviso.

Pinarello has 2 shops -one for clothing and accessories. The other shop is purely for bikes and memorabilia. That will be our next stop.

Now this would be fun -bike packing on a Pinarello. Compared to our heavy load, this would be liberating...but where do we fit the ground chairs?

Like Chesini in Verona, we left the Pinarello shops feeling that they were a shrine to bikes, cycling and it’s history. Loved the oversized painting of Bradley Wiggins above the workshop.
