Joining the Dots.

Stage 1 achieved.

Roger spent the week tweaking his bike and telling his knee to behave itself. Behave it did, so on Sunday we headed back to Surat so he could finish his unfinished business with the road.

No paddling opportunities and definitely no need to rinse off any mud. All that water is still inching its way down the river system toward South Australia and dry, dusty winter has well and truly arrived in southwest Queensland.

Surat has several welcome signs.This is the more industrial introduction.

With all the pedaling completed, we had a cup of tea beside the river and went home.

Mission accomplished, dots joined. Now let's just finish off our last 5 weeks, 5 days, 7 hours, and 32 minutes of work (not that anyone has a count down timer on their phone or anything...).

All done.

There will be a hiatus now while we finish off work, pack up the house, and dally around with some road trips. The plan is to start the 'real' ride in August. The plan is, of course, quite rubbery.

I'll keep you posted.
