In the morning, I rode part of the Saarlouis Runde cycle way and part of the cycle way along the Saar river. Both are relatively flat and have good surfaces. So I made good progress.

My cassette and chain was worn out. (And I didn't plan for replacing them, nor did I know how to).

So I bought a new bicycle. At E120, it will pay for itself in almost no time. Getting a carrier on it cost me another E38 in parts and tools.
