Day 31 - Your Words Are Wonderful
“I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.” Psalm 119:11
One day closer. After today I probably won’t have cell service till I finish. Dad comes tomorrow. Anyway, I woke up after what my watch said to be 90 minutes of sleep! I woke up a couple times to bugs or the airfield just about 100 feet away and then landing/taking off to put out approaching fires. Got going at 4 and left at 4:45 after getting eating alive by mosquitoes. I busted my butt to try and get through all the construction zones with flagged. I really had to go to the bathroom but couldn’t stop. I had a couple climbs but overall a pretty decent morning. Warm out. Eventually I got to a place and asked the construction if I was through. She said yes. What a relief! Stopped for quite some time before moving on. Eventually got going. Moved well but was quite unmotivated still. Really struggled getting to North Pole but once I did, I pulled into a McDonald’s and chilled there for a few hours. There’s lots of stuff of the bike that I needed to catch up on and it was good to do so. Called Daniel, Caleb Youngstedt, and Caleb Ryan. And mom. Got a double cheeseburger and 12 nuggets for $5.29. Steal! Finally got going for the last 13. Made it to fort wainwright and met up with Ben. Got to meet him as we checked in to the base. Rode the rest of the way to their home and got situated. Made some dinner but I was so tired. Went to the Midnight Sun Festival and then I headed back early to get some rest. Long days ahead but it’s coming to a close! Love you all 🩷. Probably no more cell until I’m done. I’ll see you when I get back 🩷🩷🩷
