After the last few days, I was in desperate need of a day off. Brody of course still got a big ride in.

The ride I did was the climb to the Lago di Place-Moulin Damn. I really wanted to see this damn and ended up being probably one of the most peaceful road rides I’ve ever had.I wore my headphones but never turned them on. I saw only 2 cyclists, 2 cars going up and only one car for 90% of the descent. Jaw dropping valley again. Place Moulin Dam is one of the largest dams in Europe and is in Bionaz, in Northern Italy. The 678 m long and 155 m high arch dam was constructed between 1955 and 1965 and has an artificial reservoir capable of holding 105 million m3 of water. It’s an amazing thing to see so close up and in person. Amazing day on the bike. It was quite hazy and apparently it’s from fire smoke from all the fires in Canada! Crazy.
Today's ride: 37 miles (60 km)
Total: 164 miles (264 km)
