We had thought the weather would be better but woke to the sound of rain and it stayed for longer than hoped but we all hung out not so patiently.
We rode to Aosta but took a diversion to Gran Paradiso Park by Cogne. This was another valley - one valley over from yesterday.
We hit rain on and off and hence took our jackets off and put them on about 5 times. The climb didn’t seem as tough as yesterday and the valley walls were just as steep but less meadows. I personally preferred yesterday but this was still beautiful.
