Val d’Aosta - Day 1 Courmayeur
Rain
We had hoped to ride but it was very wet so we opted for the Gondola ride to Monte Blanc with our usual optimism that clouds might lift. We went to 11,800 but it was completely socked in. We ventured out for a cold second in the ice and snow. (Was -3 c) and then had a lovely lunch and got some great views on the descent.
