Cesky Krumlov

It seemed very strange eating at a Greek Restaurant in the Czech Republic but it was lovely and I was pleased to get away from the overload of meat I seem to have been eating and have a light vegetarian meal followed by Greek Yoghurt with nuts and honey - all very yummy. We enjoyed meeting Christian and Joan again over breakfast. They are the first native English speakers we have met since we left home. They had come from England to a wedding here and were then touring around.

The way out was easy and we zimmed along. After a while we came to a lovely camping ground with some hardy soles camping there and even hardier ones setting off on canoes down the Moldau. We just had a cup of coffee. After this the hills atarted and there were a pair of very fit German tourists riding beside us so we couldnt be discraced and had to ride the hills

Ceske Krumlov for a cyclist is entered from on high. It looks spectacular as you sweep down but takes alot of grunt to get up there. We had decided to stop here even though it wasn't even lunch time and have a good poke around this facsinating town. It is full of tourists and I can well understand why. We found a pension, had some lunch then off we went

An elegant breakfast with Christian, Joan and our kind hostess

There are bears in the moat guarding the castle but they look healthy and are well feed so I dont think Whisper would mind Charlotte
