Karen PoretTo Scott AndersonWhen I read this , the guide happened to be close by, so I showed her the photo and she said “no”.. However, since English is not her official language, I think she doesn’t understand the difference between the word meaning.. Google it, Scott 😂

Tom FlournoyI see the windmill and the wooden shoes. Now, tulips would complete the trifecta! Perhaps it will come in a future blog. -Mark

Karen PoretTo Tom FlournoyTulips are usually only in full bloom in the earlier months..aka..winter.. You will have to see them for yourself at Keukenhof Gardens, in Lisse, Netherlands. ( South Holland) ..however I have been there before and will post a photo for you from that trip, as my trip next year is going to be in September.

Tom FlournoyTo Karen PoretNice! I've only been to the Netherlands once for a week. We stayed in Amsterdam. It was in March and quite cold. It was also boring. I think I really missed out by staying in Amsterdam instead of going to the countryside to see all these things. Perhaps one day. -Mark

Karen PoretTo Karen PoretI just posted 6 photos of various tulips, taken on our first trip to Keukenhof, in 2018. Saving you the airfare, but obliging your wish of tulip photos!
It’s headlined under my Santa Cruz journal.. Hope that is ok!

Karen PoretTo Tom FlournoyYes.. get out of Amsterdam! Unless you are strictly a museum lover, all of the true Dutch flavors and cultures are in the countryside.

Steve Miller/GrampiesThey did activate but your sequencing is a bit off. Some of your new entries are added at the beginning of the blog, some are added at the end. We prefer to add each new entry at the end so the blog reads like a book. You need to tick where to position the new entry when you create each new page. That is why Steve puts Day 1, Day 2, etc. It helps keep track of the correct order. Dodie
By the way, loving following along on your trip. We have been to many of the same places on past tours and it is good to see them again.

Karen PoretTo Steve Miller/GrampiesThank you! I am still learning! Guess I am a “C” student 🤪
PS. I can’t figure out how to delete or move journals (well).. it is terrifying for me to assume it will all “disappear”, before it gets read!

Tom FlournoyTo Karen PoretKaren, when you click on your journal (i.e., Santa Cruz, CA), at the top will be a few buttons. You want the one on the second row that says Change Order. From there you can move things around by dragging the 4 horizontal lines to the right of each entry. When you're done, don't forget to click the Save Changes button.
