Today started off very wet, very windy, and with a lot of unplanned changes due to the new guide and revised routes , because …well, just because!

Lots of history information and reasons “why” the Dutch landscape is so powerful.  Their ways with water are simply ingenious.

Stopped under the kuinderbrug waiting to use the ramp to push bike to top of stairs. At least there is a ramp for the bike!

De misthoorn on the vluchthavenpad in Schokland. The ceiling shown had quite a few swallows nesting and flying around.

Information about the misthoorn. This was an island which had a lot of ship traffic on the Zuiderzee. People used this building and area as a safe haven due to weather ( fog) This building actually had the foghorn installation.
