Travel day to Zurich

Today we left our cozy Pension in Gimmelwald for the big city of Zurich.  Cable car, bus and multiple trains later we arrived in Zurich found our hotel by the airport. Tomorrow morning we leave for Zagreb, our first time in Croatia.

On a rainy cold day this wood stove really makes for a cosy atmosphere

greta combsMy mom and dad's retirement house was heated by a wood stove. In cold weather my dad would pull his easy chair right up next to the stove. He would fry bologna on the stove top and feed it to himself and his little dog that sat right at his feet.

Riding the bus through the Lauterbrunnen valley the waterfalls were thundering down from the tops of the cliffs. There were many new waterfalls because of the rain

On the train they had a nice little map of the area. I’ve highlighted in yellow all of the places we have been in the last few days. We covered quite a bit of ground.
