Neili

Debbie zipped me on the back of her scooter to the tech mall Nova yesterday morning to sort out the tablet issue. The guy who sold it to me couldn't transfer the files either, then tried to do it with one of the iPads, but failed and I ended up with a used Samsung that has an SD card. Having that little thing seems to be needed and all the files are now loaded. My ducks are forming a row.

For some reason I was awake very early this morning and got up at six, but by seven I was back in bed and didn't resurface till 10 o'clock. Once I'd had a coffee, the day seemed to have gone, which is a shame as my intention was to get a train at around nine south with the bike. Another day.

The sun's out and it's likely going to be 30 and not wanting to stay home, I decide to ride to see if Hard-Off has any cameras in. It's about a 30-minute ride there along roads that are pretty mundane.

The usual clerk is there and I ask if he has any and he goes to a stack that haven't been priced yet and he brings four over to the counter. There's a couple of small Canons, but the batteries are dead in one and there's no charger. There's another which is priced up, but the timer is 10 seconds max. They're all  light and dinky. The problem with them is the screens are fixed, which can be an issue if the camera is placed low down, as it sometimes is with me. I leave empty-handed and cycle off towards the university area. There's a stationary store there.

There are a couple of minutes spent riding along the main road that heads straight into town before I make a left into a residential area. A bending route takes me to the busy ring road where I go with the flow for almost 10 minutes before making a right onto a small lane near the campus.

There's a small area of narrow alleys that I explore and find a couple of brooms to take snaps of, then my bike gets locked outside the large stationary store. I want a zipped poly' case that these places sell to put my tablet in when its stored inside my bar-bag. It'll keep it dry if rain starts coming down.

I find one that will do. It has a side pocket that a phone can go in.

There's a nice coffee shop nearby, but I don't feel like one now. It must be well after two, so I ride towards home, cross the ring road, then cycle on the path as it's safer. Carrefour is on this side of the road and I want some bread to toast for breakfast and flowers for Debbie. It's not long now till we say bye.

After crossing the ring road I cycle on the path
