I'm finally getting ready for this pilgamage, ride, journey,.... whatever.  ... in the middle of packing, two days before Deborah and I fly to Portland, ME.

We leave Oregon on Wednesday, May 28 and will spend 3 days together bike- riding local bike paths and doing a harbor cruise, Saturday.  My bike (Old Sage) is waiting for me and Cyclemania Bike Shop (Shipped there last week via BIKEFLITES.com) and Deborah will rent a bike from that shop.

My nephew and good friend, Jonathan White, will start riding south to the Pennsylvania border (or there abouts) where he will get picked up by a friend to take him home in Bel Aire, Maryland, and back to work.  That will take a couple of weeks.

I will continue south to Washington DC. and from there, west to Portland, Oregon.

Follow along, or just check in once in awhile as the journey continues.

PS:  In case you're wondering, Deborah will be be visiting friends in Kalamzoo, Michigan and returning home after about a week.  She and I will be in touch daily.
