London UK

We all left Canada on the 27th arriving on the 28th.  Tim & I flew from Toronto while H&C flew from Vancouver.  They arrived about an hour after us so Tim & I cooled our heels in the AC arrivals lounge until they got there.  Once there our pre-arranged transport took us directly to our Air B&B.  Once there we unpacked, did some grocery shopping and went to a local pub for happy hour and dinner, then we crashed.

Today we toured a few London sites which I had never seen nor Tim, of course, because he has never been to London.  We started with Victoria and Albert museum, then the National Portrait museum where we also had lunch followed by a walk along the south bank to the Tate Museum of modern Art.  Tim took in the exhibits but the rest of us went back to our accommodation to put up our feet.

The exterior our little row house for the 5 days that we are here

The Victoria and Albert museum where you can’t walk on the grass but you can splash around in the pond.

The view of the city from the restaurant in the National Portrait gallery. You can see the back of Nelson at Trafalgar Square, Big Ben and the London eye.

Wendy JonesLondon is such an exciting, interesting city to visit, I can't get enough of it! Our hotel was conveniently located a few blocks off of Trafalgar SquareLooks like you are taking it all in as usual. Have a Fuller's London Pride beer, delish! I highly recommend visiting the Churchill War Rooms.
