I'm working on routing for our 2021 summer tour of Michigan and Wisconsin. I just stumbled across mention of a state trail pass being required for wheeled vehicles. Walkers are free. $5. a day or $25. a year. I'm glad I did my research - it says the fine for nonresidents is $1,000.!
The only other trail I've ridden that required a fee was the Mickelson Trail. I don't think it was a state wide fee? It's been a few years.
Are there other states that have fees for trail use?
