6 years agoWith knicks and other clothing items you usually get what you pay for.
Mary uses the New Zealand Company Ground Effect entry level Jitterbug knicks and is very happy with the comfort and durability. I don't think that they still make the kit in NZ but their quality control is excellent. I have the male version.

I found that wearing a face mask, along with my sunglasses, stopped 95% of the hellos.

With a few exceptions, most of my bike shorts have been cheap Chinese ones. The Pearl Izumis I got in the states fell apart just as quick as the $10 equivalent Chinese shorts. Some of the $10 Chinese shorts have been really bad, others really really good. The pair I left in the shower in Ba Che were getting on close to 10 years.
