Magical. Absolutely magical…and hard work. An amazing day!
1 month agoIt brought back so many previous experiences over the decades, going right back to my very first mountain bike ride in the woods of Fort St. John in 1983. And another race from Mt.Washington to Courtenay, crossing the Puntledge with bikes on our shoulders. All the handling techniques came back. What a rush!

1 month agoWe are very fortunate with the weather so far. Friends of ours are two weeks weeks ahead of us and have been getting drenched. Fingers are crossed for good weather to continue.
1 month agoStunning! I'm so surprised at how little snow you have compared to us last year so close by in Slovenia. I'm so pleased that you are having such fantastic weather and the conditions are so good for cycling.

1 month agoThanks for your thoughtful comments, Patty. I feel like you’re here with us. We had another fantastic adventure today, which I will describe as ‘rock and roll’. We are still standing and happy as clams.

It was one of those days that will be etched in the memory banks. We just kept taking the sections one at a time. Each one was a challenge in its own right, and took us further down the mountain. Lots of high fives as we successfully executed each leg. Without the can-do mindset, it just would not have been possible. I think that’s something we Cycleblaze riders can all relate to and can recall examples of.
