1 month agoI noticed that the trip had been done in 2018 after I posted. I didn't realize the trip was being posted posthumously until I received your message. I am so sorry for your loss.
1 month agoI don't know if it's just a case of the grass is greener, but we loved touring in Europe. Tom didn't like the flats at all. I always chided him for being lazy on the flats. LOL He sure was strong on the hills though. -Mark

1 month agoYou hang the rear wheel instead and IIRC, you lower the saddle as well. Just remember to bring bungee cords so it doesn't move around. -Mark

1 month agoWhat a shock! I first wondered why it was someone else replying then a quick google search led me to Tom's obituary. I'm so sad for your loss and thankful that you are preserving this journal for us.
