Wonder what the purple items are on the lower right side. Flowers? Or , a stuffed toy? It does not look like trash.

Or! They don’t care at all because they are on their cellphones and can’t see them 😬

I noticed that the trip had been done in 2018 after I posted. I didn't realize the trip was being posted posthumously until I received your message. I am so sorry for your loss.

I don't know if it's just a case of the grass is greener, but we loved touring in Europe. Tom didn't like the flats at all. I always chided him for being lazy on the flats. LOL He sure was strong on the hills though. -Mark

Definately NOT Amsterdam, Netherlands! Flat, yes, but no variety, no!

Chez Cora and La Banquise are definitely Montreal icons. For one level deeper look at La Banquise and Montreal culture, have a look at this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yh5uWajtPtA

You hang the rear wheel instead and IIRC, you lower the saddle as well. Just remember to bring bungee cords so it doesn't move around. -Mark

What a shock! I first wondered why it was someone else replying then a quick google search led me to Tom's obituary. I'm so sad for your loss and thankful that you are preserving this journal for us.

Makes me really curious how you hang a bike vertically with its front wheel removed.
