Watched like a hawk for 5 km, got a photo, then missed the rollover for the video 🤦

Need to be careful that you pack the parcels in the right delivery order!

So glad that you didn't miss it! I bet you had to watch it carefully.

Bitumen.
Definitely bitumen.
We can also be happy with: tar, asphalt, pitch, pavement or sealed.

Hard pack dirt is ok. But when it rains (and it does), it turns to baby poo and gets everywhere, sticks to everything.

Cath claims that sand is always bad. Doesn't matter what's at the end of the road.

Yes it was! And thanks for reminding Cath - that we do stay (occasionally) in nice places 😊

That certainly doesn't look like fun... Sand or mud, what would you prefer? Don't say bitumen 😉

What a stunning view from the villa balcony. That was definitely a win!

Love the little one in front ( in a banana yellow shirt and shorts) 😆

Riffing over how nice the view of the rift is.
Just trying to add some musical flair to the scenery.

It's better on the other side, but we didn't know that for several hundred kilometers. And most people probably never go there since it's that much further (too far?) from Nairobi.

Poor old impala aren't valued very much... Even less than a hyena.

If only there was an escape ramp. Cath would have taken it!

The Escape Ramp Lane sign explains everything.
