The wild iris in Colorado is always pale purple. I didn't realize yellow is an option in non cultivated. They are pretty.

Yours will be the more authentic cycle tourists room though. The arrive and explode panniers contents look.

Wow, that must have been fun to see. The water level must have been much higher.

I think this is the best part of the rider too. Once a family of four sea otters lumbered across the path right in front of us somewhere near here.

Probably Mount Baker. It dominates the skyline to the east—when it’s clear.

Thanks Mark. No need to feel apologetic. We should probably have done more research. I guess we thought there would be more signage and clear directions.

Amber, Genny and Jim,

I'm feeling very sorry and apologetic that I did not post a note to you about walking your bikes up to the US control point. I had thought about it, and thought you'd run into other cyclists who have local knowledge or just see them going to the door and taking their bikes inside.

Anyway, you've had good weather, and it was nice for you to have the low tide to expose the tidal flats.

Thanks to both teams for taking time to post for us. It's great to see home turf through your cameras and commentaries!

We always take distance over heavy traffic if given a choice, as long as the elevation profile is more or less the same. Heavy traffic is scary, noisy and difficult to feel safe riding in.

Thanks, Lynda. Yes, always beautiful. If I lived here I’ve get an annual pass just to see how it changes through the seasons.

Butchart gardens are amazing. I was there about 30 years ago. Always changing. Beautiful pictures
