The green shirt is much more visible. Good choice

William Katzin commented on Conclusion and Reflections

Following your adventure through your photos has been great fun and hearing about the people you met has been enlightening. Given the physical and mental challenge of riding a heavy bike loaded with equally heavy gear for over 1,600 miles, it isn't surprising that the thing you enjoyed most was meeting people along the way. I think it's not so much that touring by bicycle is without partisan bias, but rather riding a bike is a entirely non-threatening. Instead of seeking solutions to problems, our current political discourse only seems to make everyone feel threatened by their political opponents. What can be less threatening than encountering someone on a bicycle. It brings out the best in people. Thanks for sharing your encounters and allowing me to believe, at least for a moment, that there are many very good people in the world.

William Katzin commented on a photo in Day 18 - On to Letchworth

I remember seeing these spectacular views of the Genesee River gorge in Letchworth State Park when we were on a vacation that included several locations in the beautiful state of New York. We were impressed by how well the Letchworth State Park is maintained. The lack any blue in the sky is a clear record of the smoke from the Canadian forest fires.

The "POSTED" sign pretty much tells the whole story.

I think it was a construction company. Definitely not a cannabis dispensary.

Painted turtles and map turtles.

Painted turtles have red on their shells and shells are smoother than map turtles.

A wonderful image of rural Ohio/western Pennsylvania.

Not to be a downer but there is serious smoke all over the NE from Canadian Wildfires, air quality is really bad but there's lots of cloud cover so it's not too hot...

Ugh! 😳 We’re in Barto PA with the RV doing a dog agility event, I have a bike carrier on the back, headed home Monday. Happy to give you a ride… Nobody has to know 🙊

Looks like a lawn care truck in the background so a “weed” disposary perhaps? 🥸

Was this for a cannabis dispensary?

It really is too bad. There's not another place to get lunch for many miles in either direction.
