Day 73 - Bucksport to Milbridge

It was another day of big climbs - Ride with GPS recorded 3000 feet. The biggest climbs were in the first third of the ride, so it felt good to have some easier miles at the end.

Just east of Bucksport, we crossed the Orland River.

Flowering shrubs are abundant everywhere in Maine we've been.

There were six of these colorful little cottages, but I only got three of them in the picture. Twin Hills is a very appropriate name for this area!

We were on US 1 almost the entire way today. Most of it had a very good shoulder. The areas through towns were the worst.

I haven't had many barn pictures this year. I like this large, rambling one.
