To reach San Sebastian, I stayed fairly close to the Camino Del Norte. Along the route there is still a lot of signs that the Basque people want to be independent: A protest in Bilbao, graffiti, signs written in their language and even websites ending in .eus

In San Sebastian, I saw a nice long bicycle path and decided to ride it. 850 meter of it was in a tunnel! (Previously used as a railway tunnel).

Some websites claim it's the longest bicycle tunnel in the world, but I suspect the Heinenoord Tunnel is slightly longer. (There's also a new tunnel in Bergen, Norway of over 2 km.)

It was a long weekend. The cheapest accommodation I could find was at the Hotel F1. Yikes!
