Thatcher to Duncan

So after an interesting night, I woke up actually feeling a bit better. I called Greyhound to see about getting a ride and I would need a bike box. I called the front desk to see if anyone was going east and he said he would get back to me. Emma and Chris asked around at Denny's and the waiter, Cory said he would take me when he got off work at 2pm! I decided to start and see how I felt.

Em asked for yogurt and the waiter brought her a yolk! We must have thick accents down here. The other day I asked for a cup of soup and the waitress bought me a bowl size portion in a huge styrafoam cup.

We climbed for 35 miles and then it was downhill most of the way into Duncan.

These two came out to check us out on one of our breaks

Emma got a flat but Chris put air in it a couple times and she was able to ride to the hotel.

Today's ride: 44 miles (71 km)
Total: 2,327 miles (3,745 km)

Nancy Mathisrud2300+ in a car is a lot of miles, you guys are crazy. Are you warmed up yet? It is chilly up here.

Janet Anspach-RickeyTo Nancy MathisrudIt's chilly at night when we walk to Dinner and my body heat monitor is compromised with this cold. During the day it is sunny and not too hot, not too cold, but just right!
