Day 90 - a day off at Lopez island, WA
Island time pt.2
Today we mostly lounged around. It looked like it was going to be a little harder to find a campsite near Friday harbor (San Juan island) than we anticipated, so we stayed on Lopez for a day off. We did ride into town for more food and stopped at Isabelle's espresso for a coffee, wifi, and charging. The coffee was quite good and the outlet was superb as well. We bought more stuff for curry at camp tonight and picked another nalgene of blackberries on the way back. I laid down for a few minutes around mid day before we walked out to the Spencer spit, which is a pointy sandy bit sticking into the bay.
It was pretty cool and Mary scouted out cool drift wood while I had a phone call with mom. We have been charging the phones in the bathroom and hoping no one steals it. I think it's campground courtesy to leaves charging phone, but you never know. We got back to camp near 630 and started cooking.

I can't wait to get to another island because the water here tastes so bad. I barely peed today and figure I need to chug some before I die. On the other hand, this island is really nice and quiet, I don't think it's very popular and the camp is quite small and secluded so we have had a very restful couple days.
