While we stayed at Chris and dan's place, we got alot done. We dropped off our bikes for work: Alex and Mary got their jobs rebuilt and Mark got a new tire. The shop was really fair (open road cycles) and seemed to know alot. We also went shopping for food, went downtown, rode dan's electric bike, slept really well, ate amazing vegan doughnuts from veeras, went to two locks breweries, visited rei and hung out with family and our friends. Uncle Dan renamed mark as mark the shark. Pretty much every night we stayed up late talking and having a good time. 

On our second off day, Mark's friend from Atlanta, Anton, flew out to join us on the ride for about a week. He rode across the country last year and just came out to hang out for a bit. He is super cool and stayed the last night with us at the house. We decided to head out after two days since the fire on lolo pass was getting worse and we didn't want to get stuck, although Missoula would be and awesome place to get stuck.
