Day 98: Carillon to St. Sulpice

My goal for today was to make it around Montreal. Toronto was no problem to navigate since I commute there and am familiar with reasonable routes, but Montreal was a bit of a concern. In the end, it worked out quite well. I took 344 around Montreal, then 343 south to 138 and followed it to St. Sulpice.

I finally found a tourist information centre that was open. This is a first for Quebec! The lady there was very helpful and even phoned ahead to the campground for me.

I stayed at Le Marquis Campground ($22.58). It's a big campground and I was able to get a spot right on the river.

End point:

The 'Camping Sauvage' site. I was the only one in the area, so it was very peaceful.

More of the well-paved bike path. The shelter where I waited out the storm yesterday is on the right.
